Joëlle Warren predicts the future in Recruitment International
In January 2008, Recruitment International asked industry professionals to make predictions for the sector over the coming 12 months.
Joëlle Warren, managing director of Warren Partners, commented: "While the executive search market has experienced strong growth throughout 2007, we fully expect to see clients tightening their belts in the new year as the impact of the credit crunch begins to take hold. Those specialising solely in the financial services sector are likely to feel this contraction more than most.
"Having said that the ongoing skills shortage that we have witnessed across industries will mean that those executive search professionals who act as true partners and advisers to boards, as opposed to acting on a purely transactional basis, will be in even greater demand."
