Warren Partners - Search and selection of high calibre candidates for high profile executive roles

Joëlle Warren quoted in Financial Director

In March 2007, this article in Financial Director examined how allowing employees time off to volunteer for good causes is not just a good way of giving something back to the community, but can also reap huge rewards for your business.

Warren Partners' Managing Director, Joëlle Warren, explained that senior executives are increasingly requesting these types of benefits when looking for new roles. She said: "They seem less motivated by money and more interested in doing something worthwhile. People want to feel good about going to work."

Joëlle went on to talk about a group volunteering project that the Warren Partners staff recently undertook as an alternative to a team building event. The Business in the Community venture saw the whole team spend a day converting a badminton court into a theatre at Cinnamon Brow Community Centre in Warrington.

Joëlle said: "It was exhausting, but so worthwhile. It developed team working and project management skills. Everyone felt they'd done something good and we got some great media coverage around it."
