Print Week explores the benefits of flexible working
On 28 June 2007, Print Week examined flexible working and its potential benefits to employers in terms of reducing sickness absence and creating more committed, motivated workforces.
The article reinforced the view that firms in even the most traditional of industries must implement effective flexible working strategies in order to expand their operations and maintain a competitive advantage when recruiting new personnel.
Mike Penny, Director at Warren Partners, commented: "We’re seeing an increase in the number of executives seeking the opportunity to work part of their week from home. This is particularly attractive for those who are either relocating for a role or live a significant distance from their office."
