In September 2007, Acquisitions Monthly looked at the difficulty of recruiting corporate finance employees, as the M&A boom has meant potential candidates are currently too busy to look for alternative work.
Warren Partners Director, Tom Manger, said: "There has been real pressure in the North West because of a lack of people and because everyone has been doing lots of deals. But that has slackened off in the last 18 months.
"That makes it easier to operate as things are not quite as busy as they were. The boutiques are doing well but the big four accountants are quite steady."
