Karen Jones - Finance Director

"Continuous effort is the key to unlocking your potential."

After attaining a degree from the University College of North Wales, Bangor, Karen moved to Manchester and joined Price Waterhouse. Training within the audit practice her experience covered a wide range of clients from large PLCs to small businesses and charities. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Karen left the profession to join Stark Brookes Associates to assist in the development of the middle and senior finance executives recruitment practice.

In 1990 she joined Ernst & Young within the Corporate Finance & Advisory Services department where she specialised in due diligence and fraud investigation work.

After the birth of her first child, Karen moved into a line role as Financial Controller for a newly formed group of companies in the IT recruitment and consultancy services industry. She was responsible for setting up and managing the accounting and payroll systems of the holding company and had day to day finance responsibility for two of the four operating subsidiaries.

Karen joined Warren Partners shortly after its establishment and has set up and developed the finance function together with taking an active involvement in the operational side of the business.

Karen is a very active sportswoman, she has a passion for skiing, plays team tennis and regularly runs. Karen recently competed in the Great Manchester Run raising over £1,500 for the Whizz Kids charity.

She also serves as a Governor of The Grange School, Hartford and is married with three children.
