Kate Knowles - Director

A graduate of Manchester Polytechnic, where she gained a BA(Hons) in Economics, Kate has over 20 years' experience in the retail sector, including time with Warner Bros Studio Stores as their first ever UK Store Manager.
Prior to joining Warren Partners, Kate was the Head of Retail at the Early Learning Centre (ELC), responsible for 214 stores and 2000 employees. As a key member of the ELC senior management team, she was instrumental in turning around the company, trebling its market share to around £85m in 2007.
Kate's time at ELC also saw her develop a bespoke psychometric tool and introduce a management performance tool used to develop effective succession planning. It was while delivering an 'out of town' strategy for ELC that she gained extensive knowledge of the property sector.
