Following the recent sale of the business to Oaktree Capital Management, Ainscough was looking to continue on the growth path they have already embedded after the successful turnaround over the last two years and were looking to appoint a Regional Operations Director to join the Executive Team, with responsibility for driving further growth in the company’s South East Region (currently the fastest growing area nationally. The leadership team ideally wanted a candidate to broaden the diversity of the team in terms of experience from out of sector.
“This was the fourth successful appointment within the Group that Warren Partners have been involved with.”
Our search encompassed a broad range of B2B service sectors which were construction related and we were able to produce a shortlist of candidates with not only proven track records of successfully growing revenue in industrial B2B service operations management roles, but with strong understanding of the commercial implications of their decisions. The successful candidate had not only successfully managed and grown autonomous businesses/divisions with a comparable P&L, but also been intrinsically involved in the development their commercial function, thereby playing a key role in improving the performance and profitability of the business they had been involved with.
Ainscough were delighted with the appointment, which was achieved within five weeks of approval to proceed with the project. This was the fourth successful appointment within the Group that Warren Partners have been involved with.
