Laurence Vallaeys

Laurence focuses on senior executive and non-executive roles in the FMCG, retail & leisure and property & real estate sectors. She works closely with the rest of the team to strengthen our capability and reach in these sectors. Her clients range from listed businesses to family-owned organisations. Laurence is passionate about driving the diversity agenda and actively works to increase both gender and ethnic minority representation in British businesses.

With a track record spanning Executive and Non-Executive appointments, Laurence has helped both Senior Leadership Teams and Boards manage succession challenges and rebalancing their skillset to make way for a more diverse talent pool. She has worked extensively with quoted businesses, including FTSE250, small cap and AIM listed companies and has a particular interest in family Chair and NED appointments.

Laurence has a particular interest in challenger brands, owner driven businesses, private equity backed ventures and SME’s; where she has a significant track record.

Laurence built her search career with Whitehead Mann, working with retail clients before joining Odgers Berndtson, where she ran the European Consumer and Leisure Practice.

Born and educated in Belgium, France and the UK, Laurence has a strong understanding of how critical both cultural fit and diversity are to the success of any team and with many business models undergoing significant changes today. She is a Language graduate of the Institut Marie Haps, Bruxelles and a Law graduate from Buckingham University. She joined Warren Partners in 2015 and runs our thought leadership events.

Outside work she is an avid dressage rider.

In a fiercely competitive market, it is the quality of our people, our market expertise and our commitment to “treating others as we want to be treated” which sets us apart.
