Rupert is a trusted Board advisor on the assessment, appointment and integration of senior executives and non-executive directors.  He has an extensive network and variety of client base covering retail and SME banking, insurance, pensions, wealth management and investments.  His passion for purpose-driven financial services provision includes expertise in mutuality (financial mutuals), ethical banking and pension provision, for everyone.  Rupert has built a reputation for challenging the ‘norm’ – extremely politely – and in reaching consensus within complex stakeholder environments. He continues to play a key role in driving the Warren Partners equality, diversity and inclusion strategy.

A qualified Hogan and Wave psychometric assessor, Rupert also supports boards in providing the depth and detailed assessment needed to hire the right employees, identify and develop talented individuals, and build better leaders.

Before joining Warren Partners, Rupert spent four years within Capita plc’s executive search business, delivering private/public sector interface mandates across all search practices including mutuality, not-for-profit and social enterprise ventures. Previous commercial experience includes several years as a Managing Director of a resourcing business supporting an AIM listed security group in the provision of outsourced services to the Police Service.  He began his recruitment career in the City specialising in equity markets and private wealth management for a global FTSE 250 recruiter. Rupert’s early career was spent within HM Forces (Army).

Rupert is a keen sportsman (occasional mountain marathon runner) and aspiring smallholder. He is a passionate supporter of Veterans Aid – a charity whose activities revolve around helping ex-servicemen and women in crisis, particularly in the reduction and eradication of homelessness among veterans. He spends his time between home in the Cotswolds and London.
