Jon is one of the UK’s most experienced executive search consultants in the Industrial space. He has spent over 35 years partnering with companies to acquire and develop exceptional leaders and executive teams, as well as increasingly working with Chairs to build effective and diverse Boards.

He has a particular interest in infrastructure, working with investors at key points in their cycle to assess, develop and augment the key talents in their portfolio companies to drive performance and enhance enterprise value.

Based in the UK, Jon has a significant track record of working with organisations in the UK and Ireland but has also worked extensively with funds and companies based overseas, notably in the EU, North America and the Middle East.

The infrastructure agenda is complex and of critical national importance; the talent pool is globally mobile and the competition for capital, both financial and human, is intense. Jon brings a wealth of knowledge and connectivity to help clients solve their turnkey leadership challenges. Working across the C-suite, he has particular and extensive experience in appointing CEOs, COOs, CFOs and Supply Chain leaders.

For the majority of his search career, Jon was a partner at Heidrick & Struggles, initially in the London office before opening the Dubai office in 2008. He spent 6 years leading that region and then returned to London in 2015. He held a number of senior positions (including a Global leadership role for a decade) before moving to Redgrave in 2019. He joined Warren Partners in 2026.

He started his career training and qualifying as an ACA within the Industrial & Commercial Practice of Arthur Andersen in the London office, with his major clients being in B2B, B2C and Manufacturing.

He graduated from Cambridge University with a MA in Law and Classical Studies.

When he has leisure time, Jon fails in his pursuit of golfing perfection but sometimes impresses in the kitchen. Wine, ancient history and struggling with one of the more challenging daily crosswords are other distractions. Being a lifelong supporter of Leeds United and Yorkshire Cricket has exposed him to triumph and despair in unequal measure.
