Julia is the Managing Partner of Warren Partners and a member of the firm’s board, overseeing the business. She has deep, long‑standing relationships across the UK financial services sector, working with established institutions, challenger brands and new entrants to strengthen their boards and senior leadership teams. Her expertise spans banking, building societies, insurance, wealth management, pensions and fintech.

She is trusted by boards to appoint non‑executive directors, chairs and C‑suite leaders, with particular recognition for her strength in CFO and financial leadership searches. As a qualified Hogan assessor, she also supports boards in evaluating executive and emerging talent.

Julia has built an extensive network of senior contacts — clients, candidates, regulators and advisors — and is known for relationships grounded in trust, transparency, warmth and candour. A committed advocate for diversity, she champions Warren Partners’ role in helping clients build balanced, high‑performing boards.

Her career began in a FTSE 100 plc before she founded and later sold her own finance‑specialist recruitment business. She then became a Partner at a boutique search firm before joining Warren Partners in 2014.

Julia is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and a strong advocate for wellbeing. Outside work, she enjoys reformer Pilates, cycling, running, skiing, and time with her family — including Jock and Bonnie, her border terriers. She also volunteers as an Interview Coach for Smart Works, supporting unemployed women preparing for interviews.
