Khurram specialises in Board-level and executive appointments, including Chair, NED, CEO and ExCo roles, working across a wide range of governance models spanning UK and internationally listed businesses, private equity-backed organisations, privately owned companies and social-impact organisations. He advises clients across both B2B and B2C sectors, frequently supporting organisations through periods of transformation, change and growth, with a particular strength in leadership roles operating at the intersection of business, technology and strategy, including CIO, CTO and senior digital and data appointments.

He has a strong track record of identifying and engaging exceptional emerging leadership talent in the UK and internationally, supported by a diverse and well-established network. A qualified Hogan and Wave psychometric assessor, he also advises Boards and CEOs on team effectiveness, succession and leadership development.

A committed advocate for diversity, Khurram has led numerous Board and senior leadership appointments aimed at improving the representation of underrepresented groups within some of the UK’s most prominent organisations. He has been closely involved in the development of the Warren Partners Board Fellowship Programme, focused on improving the diversity of FTSE 250 Boards, and serves as Deputy Chair of the North West Business Leadership Team’s (NWBLT) Diversity Drivers group, having been involved since its inception in 2021. He also joined the NWBLT Membership Team in December 2024. Khurram is a regular guest contributor to Leeds University Business School’s Exceptional NED Programme, supporting the development of current and aspiring Non-Executive Directors.

He is also actively involved in education and community leadership. Khurram was Co-Vice Chair (and Interim Chair) of an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’-rated special educational needs school, and is Vice Chair and a founding member of a West Yorkshire-based charity.

Earlier in his career, Khurram was an Associate with the global executive search firm Whitehead Mann (now part of Korn Ferry), focusing on Director-level appointments across engineering, retail, manufacturing and energy. He began his career in technology consulting with IBM Global Services.

Outside of work, Khurram is a keen cyclist and runner (despite living in Yorkshire and being surrounded by hills).
